Born as an extension of Quercia, “BASECAMP” is a project that transfers the clubbing concept within high-altitude environments, giving birth to a new and experimental blend, very far from what traditional “après-ski” experiences provide. In occasion of the opening event, I created a tailored brand identity for the project: The idea was to bring value to the landscape rather than the party enviroment, communicating through exploration gear codes. The aesthetic style in fact follows a very technical and contemporary feel — a necessary trait shared by all outdoor clothing brands — while being loyal to the old mountain world heritage, by hinting slight vintage references, as if the brand existed already for decades and had been alive ever since.
